You’ll find us on the quayside of Cape Town’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the mother city. Take an umbrella shaded table on our terrace, at the African Queen bar, or in our streamlined interior, where wall-to-wall windows make the most of the picture - postcard backdrop of Table Mountain. Described by restaurant critics as one of the Waterfronts most popular pioneers were now celebrating our 26th anniversary.

The menu revolves round Moulles Marinieres, Steak Au Poivre and Bitterballen or North Sea Shrimps flown in from Europe. We import beers from small Belgian breweries to ensure a spread of different flavours and styles. Six of these are served on tap: De Koninck, Vedett Extra White, Liefmans Fruitesse, La Chouffe, and our house ale Anker Brew, brewed following a personal recipe from Den Anker’s Belgian founder, Denis Bouckaert. The latest addition is a Blonde that has been brewed under the Anker brand, aptly named – Anker Blonde. Try one of our 25 Belgian bottled beers, including Duvel, Kwak, Westmalle Tripel or St Bernadus to name a few.
